This sight hound is one of the tallest of the dog breeds. Proud and independent, the athletic Borzoi enjoys exercise, and possesses a deep desire to chase. The Borzoi is an affectionate dog although they can be wary of new people. Don't expect this gentle dog to be a watchdog.
