Bio
Like its namesake, the Basset Hound, this breed is a low slung, long-bodied dog, but leggier and lighter than the Basset. It also has a coarse, dense coat that may require stripping. The Basset Fauvre is a scent hound, lively and friendly, although like most hounds, quite independent.
